Trail Blazers at Warriors OddsShark Matchup Report

Golden State Warriors Notes

With Kevin Durant on the shelf with a strained calf, the Warriors still went into Houston and handled their business, defeating the Rockets 118-113 as 7.5-point road underdogs. Klay Thompson was sharp with 27 points and a 7-for-13 day from behind the arc, and Steph Curry bounced back from a zero-point first half to rack up 33 points in the second half.

Golden State may not be as versatile or as deep of a team without Kevin Durant in the lineup, but there is still plenty of firepower and experience here to get the job done.

Since winning their previous 11 games against Portland, the Warriors are just 2-4 SU and ATS in their last six games against the Trail Blazers per the OddsShark NBA Database.

Portland Trail Blazers Notes

On a night that Damian Lillard wasn’t at his best and couldn’t find his shot, CJ McCollum was up to the task of carrying the team. McCollum went 17-for-29 from the floor, dominating with his mid-range jumper to lead the team with 37 points on offense in a 100-96 Game 7 road win over the Denver Nuggets.

Portland trailed by as many as 17 points in the second quarter but rallied for an impressive win to advance into this Western Conference final. The Trail Blazers are 14-8 SU and ATS in their last 22 road games.

Trail Blazers at Warriors Betting Total

Tuesday night’s total is set at 219 points at betting sites. The OVER is 4-1 in Golden State’s last five games and in Portland’s last five games.

Kevin Durant’s absence makes this series a lot more interesting. Lillard and McCollum will go to war with Curry and Thompson in a battle between two of the best back courts in the game today, and it should be a whole lot of fun to watch.
