It’s chillier than you expected for a BBQ this deep into the summer. Everyone’s wearing a sweatshirt, and the food’s being served inside. But the party’s still bumping and the DJ’s got everyone entertained.
The ups-and-downs of the Chicago Sky’s season are expected. A dominant backcourt of Allie Quigley and Courtney Vandersloot will wow. And in spurts, sophomores Diamond DeShields and Gabby Williams and rookie Katie Lou Samuelson should, too. But it won’t always be easy. Bring a hoodie to this party, but that doesn’t mean you won’t have a great time.
Congrats to you, Sky fan. Get ready for a summer of Gabby Williams highlights where she grabs a monster rebound, dribbles the length of the floor and delivers a sick assist. Should be fun.
