Favored Liverpool and underdog Tottenham collide Sunday in a match that could have major implications on the EPL standings.

Liverpool is undefeated at home this season with a record of 13-2-0, outscoring its opponents 44 to nine over those 15 games. The club will look to pick up another big win at home this Sunday when it hosts Tottenham Hotspur.

Liverpool is going off as a -165 favorite on the Premier League odds at Anfield at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. While the squad’s road record has slipped in recent months with a 2-3-1 mark in its last six away from home, Liverpool has remained the most dominant team in the English Premier League at home.

Tottenham will try to hand Liverpool its first home loss of the season as a +450 underdog to win and a +325 underdog to force a draw. Since winning 10 of its previous 12 games and each of its previous four, Tottenham has gone off the rails in league play with an 0-1-3 record over its last four matches including three straight losses on the road.

With Tottenham’s recent skid, the club now sits in third place only one point ahead of Arsenal, three points ahead of Manchester United and four points ahead of Chelsea.

All three of these teams are favored this week and could gain even more ground with wins as Manchester United (-225) hosts Watford (+650 to win, +325 to draw) on Saturday, Chelsea (-225) visits Cardiff City (+650 to win, +355 to draw) on Sunday and Arsenal (-245) hosts Newcastle United (+750 to win, +400 to draw) on Monday.

As the positive results keep piling up for Manchester United under caretaker Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, the move was finally made this week to promote Solksjaer to full-time manager. United’s transformation under Solskjaer has been remarkable with the club going 10-2-1 under him in league play after starting 7-5-5 under Jose Mourinho.

Manchester City is the biggest favorite on the board this weekend as it often is, going off at -700 at betting sites on the road against Fulham (+1800 to win, +850 to draw). City is 10-0-1 over its last 11 games with a current stretch of six straight wins. Fulham has the worst goal differential in the EPL at -41, a far cry from Manchester City’s league-best +58 goals.
