It’s time for the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament. Who will make it to the final eight?
With four games on Thursday and another four on Friday, we’re down to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament. March Madness continues unabated as top seeds Gonzaga and Virginia will be in action on Thursday. All eight games for the round will be broadcast by either CBS or TBS (live streaming via fuboTV, TBS, CBS All-Access, and March Madness Live).
Gonzaga will be facing against the fourth-seeded Florida State in the first game of the day. Gonzaga’s last game was an 83-71 win over Baylor, while Florida State managed to down Murray State in their previous game.
The other top seed on Thursday, Virginia, will face Oregon, the 12th seed. Oregon is coming off a win over UCI, while Virginia last beat Oklahoma. On Friday, top seeds North Carolina and Duke will take on Auburn, the fifth seed, and Virginia Tech, the fourth seed, respectively.
Duke is obviously the big name there. They were nearly upset at the hands of No. 9 UCF in their last outing. They won in the very final seconds, with Zion Williamson managing to get past Tacko Fall at the perfect moment. They won by a single point, but then again, that was an extremely tough UCF team that was structured pretty well toward beating Duke. Can Virginia Tech put up the same kind of fight?
Below is all you need to know to follow the action on Thursday and Friday.
